Importing Multiple Contacts at Once

Select the Category in which the Contacts should be imported.
Then choose Contacts… from the File / Import menu and select the desired Contacts.

Creating an Item with a Contact

When you create a new Item, you can use the Contact Item icon to create an Item for a Contact. You can enter the Contact data manually or import a Contact from the Contacts app.
Imported Contacts will not be deleted automatically from the Contacts app, this must be done manually if desired.
By selecting an email address you can send a mail. Mails sent from Safe + will be listed in the Mail app as usual.
